HUTT CITY HEALTH CENTRES welcome all new patients who wish to enrol with a doctor at our Hutt Central medical centre and in our Fitzherbert Rd Centre, Wainuiomata. Enrolment is where you choose to make us your regular doctor. We transfer your medical notes from your previous Doctor, as well as your local health authority (PHO) funding. 

Not everyone is eligible for funding. The Ministry of Health website has a guide to eligibility criteria. Eligibility of non-New Zealand residents for publicly funded health care depends on your work visa status.

Important Information for Patients

When a patient enrolls, we allocate them to a Doctor. If you wish to be allocated to a different Doctor, please speak to one of our receptionists. To ensure continuity of care, we encourage patients to book with the same Doctor each time. Our Doctors value the opportunity to build relationships with individual patients.
